WALTHAMSTOW: Traders can win six months' free rent

TIME is running out for traders to enter a competition to win six months free business rent.

The Mall, the company which owns Walthamstow's Selborne Walk shopping centre, is running the competition across 27 centres nationwide.

Entrants must fill in a form outlining their products and unique selling point.

The winner of the competition will receive six months' free rent, support from The Mall, a mentor from the Royal Bank of Scotland and places at the British Shops & Stores Association summer school and the National Skills Academy Retail Masterclass.

Alasdair Currie, Selborne Walk shopping centre manager, said: “We have seen some really strong entries in Walthamstow and I think we’re in with a good chance of finding the national winner right here.

Over the past two years this competition has launched new careers for budding businessmen and women and this year will be no different.”
