Am I alone in thinking we have become a country full of unquestioning idiots who take everything that so-called experts say as true?

Thousands of scientists throughout the world say the planet is warming up and if we do nothing it will get worse in the next 50 years. A footprint to the average human is when you tread in something nasty and walk it into the house. Now we are told it is our carbon footprint that is causing the problem, no one has ever seen this footprint but we accept it because the experts say it is there.

Nothing is happening to the planet now that has not happened thousands, if not millions, of times before since the Big Bang. What is a fact is that we were not there to witness it. Thousands of years ago we had an Ice Age; everyone knows that to form ice you have to have water and extremely low temperatures. The planet must have warmed up for the ice to melt, there were no power stations, 4X4s or farting cows then so we must accept that there was a climate change before and after the Ice Age.

Surely the weather we have experienced since Christmas must make the scientists question their beliefs. It is the worst weather we have experienced in our lifetime, but it has absolutely nothing to do with anything the human race has done and there is nothing we can do to change it. Something has caused it and we should be looking to find out what, not sticking to the belief we are to blame.

For example we are told earth is 97.3 million miles from the sun, the earth is spinning on its axis and orbits the sun once a year. No spinning object will maintain the same trajectory year in and year out so there is a possibility we are closer to the sun at the moment. Two or three million miles closer is likely, because at this time of the year we are nearing the bottom of our orbit and the southern hemisphere is pointing directly to the sun, is it not strange that Australia is having the hottest summer on records and the northern hemisphere the coldest and wettest in memory? Can we expect in two or three month’s time we will have a heat wave which will be the hottest in memory.

Then the Green Party and the Friends of the Earth will have a field day blaming us for destroying the planet.
