Researching great grandfather
I am researching the life of my elusive great grandfather. I believe he was called John Fowler and lived at 63 Bemsted Road, Walthamstow from before the First World War until he died aged over 90 by being run over while walking his dog, Turpin, possibly in 1943.
I would be most grateful for any information, both on this incident or any other news item that may have involved him or his daughter Christina.
