We should welcome the judicial review decision that moving Christian Kitchen to Billet Road from central Walthamstow is a danger for vulnerable people travelling to an isolated area which would leave then open to being attacked.
I genuinely hope the council will enter meaningful dialogue to solve the problem. Waltham Forest has a good record in helping all people who have fallen on hard times in austerity Britain, no matter where they were born. Pandering to a perception that gentrification will be hindered by moving Christian Kitchen is a betrayal of William Morris' socialist principles and believing that the house price explosion is in the only barometer to watch .
