In search of tragic Hurricane pilot's descendants
Updated 2:51pm Wednesday 28th May 2014 in Your Views
I am currently writing my second book, this one being entitled Hurricane – Courage and Sacrifice, for publication this year.
It will focus solely on Hurricane pilots who were sadly killed flying the type during the last world war.
One such pilot I am keen to include is Flight Lieutenant Douglas Stuart Thomson of 28 Squadron, who was killed on March 3 1944 in the far eastern theatre of operations.
He hailed from Much Hadham near Bishops Stortford and his parents were listed as Victor and Isabella.
If there are any family members or friends who can provide information and photographs of him then I would love to hear from them.
I can be contacted on the below address or on email@example.com.
