I am currently writing my second book, this one being entitled Hurricane – Courage and Sacrifice, for publication this year.
It will focus solely on Hurricane pilots who were sadly killed flying the type during the last world war.
One such pilot I am keen to include is Flight Lieutenant Douglas Stuart Thomson of 28 Squadron, who was killed on March 3 1944 in the far eastern theatre of operations.
He hailed from Much Hadham near Bishops Stortford and his parents were listed as Victor and Isabella.
