John Carr has been campainging to stop speeding in his village for many years.
Recently two cars have come off the road in Bumbles Green one into a hedge, the other into someone's garden, and residents now want to see action taken to prevent further crashes.
Nazeing parish councillor Tom Arnold has raised the issue at recent parish council meetings and hopes to see electronic signs installed in the area to warn speeding drivers.
