Greenpeace activist James Cracknell is Speaking Out this week about his attempt to raise money to repair a ship needed in campaigns to protect the Arctic.

The ‘Arctic Sunrise’ was held by Russia last year sparking a big campaign for the release of the crew known later as the ‘Arctic 30’.

Despite having the ship returned it is damaged and equipment is missing.

Greenpeace must find £450,000 to completely restore it.

The group is holding an "Arctic Sunraiser" at the Ye Olde Rose & Crown Theatre Pub in Hoe Street from 7.30pm on September 26.
