I just read the front page story in the Epping Forest Guardian about a knife attack on some young boys.
It’s not often I say positive things about the police, but I think Mr Murray is wrong to criticise them when they suggest that people should take more care.
Of course we should all take care to protect ourselves from the muggers and murderers of this world.
But I think the blame for crime should be placed fairly and squarely on the shoulders of those parents who don’t bring their children up to know right from wrong.
They’re the ones who don’t care enough to even put themselves out to know where their children are or who they are mixing with.
Anyone who thinks that doesn’t happen just take a look outside the local shops at night or in station yards – they’re all there.
You can see this on police documentaries too.
Get the parents sorted and maybe then you’ll sort the kids too.
