On March the 2nd a group of Sainsbury’s colleagues and managers braved the cold weather to raise money for Red Nose Day. This group of fundraisers battled against the elements during a charity round of golf at Hainault Golf Club. Colleagues and managers of stores from the East London and Essex region took part. Sainsbury’s would like to make a special thank you to Hainault Golf Course* for hosting this event and to local business Lakeballs. Lakeballs* were kind enough to donate some of their products as prizes for the participants of this event.

Sainsbury’s have been a major partner of Comic Relief since 1999, raising £84 million. For Red Nose Day 2015, the super supermarket is hoping to top the £11.5 million they brought in last time. Colleagues will also be raising huge amounts by doing all sorts of weird and wonderful fundraising activities.
