How can asking for evidence increase public pressure on politicians to use evidence effectively and transparently?
This discussion, organised by East London Humanists will draw on recent examples, celebrating where it’s done well, exposing where evidence is abused and sharing insights into the complexity and uncertainty at the heart of how evidence should inform policy making in the public interest.
It will take place at Wanstead Library in Spratt Hall Road on Monday, March 23 at 7pm.
The doors will be open at 6.30pm. There will be light refreshments and a bookstall.
The meeting is free and open to everyone.
