An afternoon of music and dancing from the glory days of the dance hall is being held for two voluntary organisations.
The Tea Dance is being held in Budworth Hall, Ongar High Street on Saturday March 28, 1-4pm, to raise money for Voluntary Action Epping Forest (VAEF) and Ongar Youth Plus, an activity project for young people with learning disabilities.
Music from the 1940s to 1960s will be played at the event, with a short demonstration of some 1950s dance styles.
Tea and cake is included in the entrance fee of £2.50.
For more information, contact Sally Panrucker at VAEF by phoning 01992 564 032 or emailing spanrucker@vaef.org.uk.
