An X-Factor casting team are set to host an open mic night in a bid to discover "fresh talent".

The evening, which is set to be hosted by the Foresters Arms Pub in Baldwins Hill, Loughton, will see the team scouting new voices for the upcoming ITV television show, on Friday (May 22).

X-Factor Researcher Woody Bradbury said: "Our casting team will be attending an open mic night on Friday.

"We are looking for fresh talent.

"Residents are welcome to come down and sing in front of the team for the upcoming series of the talent show."

Anyone over the age of 16 can enter.

The event will begin at 7.30pm.
