An outdoor gym, similar to that installed in Walthamstow in 2013 (pictured above), will be installed next month.
Plans are underway to install a town's first outdoor gym.
Buckhurst Hill Parish Council are set to erect the fitness park in a disused playground in Hornbeam Road, Buckhurst Hill.
The playground has been out of use for a number of years due to reoccurring vandalism.
Councillors have this week earmarked £25,000 of council money and obtained £6,500 of grant funding for the scheme from Essex County Council’s Community Initiative Fund.
Work to install the gym will begin next month.
