A resident has celebrated walking more than 2,000 miles with a community action group.
Narinder Sood completed his 1000th walk on Thursday (May 14) alongside Epping Forest health club Lifewalker, who host five walks a week in a bid to keep residents healthy.
Mr Sood, who joined the group in 2005, has now walked a distance equivalent to walking from London to Cyprus.
He said: “Lifewalks has not only kept me fit and active but I have also made lots of new friends and have started doing other activities such as golf with them.
"I really recommend Lifewalks and feel a great sense of achievement to of reached a 1,000 walks.
"I hope to go on and walk another 1,000 walks.”
