Children got the chance to “rock out” at school at a recent event.
Pupils at Thomas Willingale school in The Broadway, Loughton, played the electric guitar and tried their hands at the drums when instructors from the Livewire Rock Academy visited last Friday (May 26).
The event was held to enhance the music curriculum by giving key stage two pupils the opportunity to try instruments they would not normally get the chance to play at school.
Headteacher Teresa Phillips said: “The children enjoyed themselves immensely - it seems we have some budding rock stars in both our children and staff!”
