Organisers of an annual pantomime are inviting local amateur performers to a series of auditions.

The Woodford Pantomime will be holding an open audition on June 10 at the Redbridge Drama Centre, in Churchfields, South Woodford, from 8pm to 10pm.

A further audition has been also been scheduled for June 14 at the Theydon Bois Scout Hut from 10am to 1pm for their first ever production of Robin Hood in early January 2016.

This will be the group’s 55th production at the Sir James Hawkey Hall, in Broomhill Walk, Woodford Green.

It is run and performed by amateurs and volunteers from the local community.

Last year saw record ticket sales for its show, Cinderella with over 97 per cent of tickets sold.

Charity collections at the shows raised over £1,100 for local charity The Chigwell Disabled Riding Trust.

You must be over 16-years-old and prepared to sing and dance to an audience of over 6,000 people over 15 shows.
