Waltham Abbey Church is hosting the choral event on June 5
Two choirs will combine to perform traditional church music and singalong tunes at an upcoming event.
The Waltham Abbey Choristers will be joined by the boys’ choir of Ely Cathedral on June 5 for the concert at Waltham Abbey Church, in Highbridge Street.
The free concert will be conducted by Paul Trepte, director of music at Ely Cathedral, and accompanied by Jonathan Lilley, director of music at Waltham Abbey.
Church warden Richard Walters said: “This concert will be a great step forward for the Abbey Choristers and should be a splendid occasion.”
A collection for the church will be made at the event, which runs from 7pm.
