A fire which saw more than 100-tonnes of manure alight was accidental, an investigation has found.
Five crews from Essex Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene off of Hoe Lane in Abridge at 4.15pm yesterday (May 28) following reports of a large fire in a field.
The fire was extinguished just before 6.10pm but crews remained on site dealing with hot spots until 7.10pm.
