A heritage railway is set to turn back the clocks with a 1940s themed weekend.
The event, which will take place at the Epping Ongar Railway in Station Approach, Ongar on Saturday (June 13) and Sunday (June 14), will feature a flyover from RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight including planes such as a Hurricane, Lancaster and Spitfire.
Residents will also be entertained through vintage vehicle displays, live dance groups, music and re-enactment groups.
Steam trains will be used to ferry passengers from station to station where there will be British troops and 40’s policemen.
Tickets for the event can be purchased, here.
