A fair to help people into work with advice and apprenticeships took place today.
The Work Redbridge Training, Volunteering and Apprenticeships Fair was held at Redbridge town hall, in Ilford, today (June 18) from 11am to 2pm.
Councillor Helen Coomb, cabinet member for economy, said: “Finding a new job can be difficult and interviews can be intimidating.
"Work Redbridge helps our residents who are looking for support to get jobs, apprenticeships and training or volunteering opportunities.
“This fair is a great way for residents to learn new skills and to find employment, with access to a whole range of opportunities and careers advice.
"We want to do everything possible to help people to improve their chances of securing employment.
“In addition to the fair, Work Redbridge offers many further events and one to one support, work clubs, IT clubs and conversation clubs to help residents to get back into work.”
