A black tie evening raised £5,000 towards a complete revamp of a playground.
Wanstead Playground Association, which has so far raised around £35,000 for the Christchurch Green playground, organised Saturday evening's event at Wanstead Golf Club, in Overton Drive.
Local businesses sponsored tables and donated raffle prizes.
The Mayor of Redbridge, Cllr Barbara White, was also in attendance.
