A pub is set to host the first of a series of events in a bid to help raise £500,000 for a desperately ill three-year-old girl.
The Merry Fiddlers Pub in Fiddlers Hamlet is set to host the Ruby Red Ball for Ruby Young, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer, in 2014, on Saturday (June 27).
Despite undergoing ten grueling rounds of chemotherapy, Ruby has an 80 per cent chance of relapsing.
Her parents are trying to raise £500,000 to pay for Ruby to take part in a clinical trial in America if her condition deteriorates.
The Ruby Red Ball is set to take place at the pub from 7pm.
Residents are set to be entertained with a three course meal, saxophone performances, a DJ, a raffle and an auction.
Tickets for the event can be purchased by calling Ria James on 07763704629.
