Organisers of a popular annual event say they a "desperate" for bric-a-brac.
Theydon Bois's famous Donkey Derby, which is expected to attract a crowd of around 4,000 visitors, is set to return next weekend (July 5).
The Theydon Bois Scout and Guide group, who are hosting the 2015 event, are appealing to residents for old DVD's, books and ornaments which can be sold to help raise much-needed funds.
Organiser Nik O'Flynn said: "We are desperate for some bric-a-brac donations.
"It can be anything from DVD's to ornaments.
"We will collect the donations from peoples homes so they don't have to do anything but donate.
"Every year we have a bric-a-brac stall which helps raise a lot of money and this year we do not have enough.
"We would be very grateful for anything anyone can spare."
To donate bric-a-brac you can call Bob Penman on 01992 813709 to arrange collection.
