A borough's children's book awards was held yesterday with pupils having the chance to meet authors.
Secondary schools and reading groups attended the annual Redbridge Children's Book Awards at the town hall in Ilford yesterday (June 25).
Pupils asked questions while voting for their favourite children's and teenage book.
E. Lockhart's We Were Liars won the Teenage Book Award while Holly Black and Cassandra Clare's The Iron Trial won the Children's Book Award.
