Work by high school students has been put on display at an art centre.
The final-year display by 16-year-olds at Roding Valley High School in Alderton Hill, Loughton, was placed on display at the Loughton Arts Centre in High Road, Loughton, today (June 29).
The work was recently on show at an exhibition in the school gallery.
The display features a selection of GCSE art and photography coursework and exam work and includes painting, drawing, pastel work, colour and black and white photography and ceramic pieces.
The school's Head of Art, David Tisdale, said: "We have exhibited our summer show at Loughton Arts Centre for the last three years because we always get tremendous feedback from the public.
“Visitors pop in and seem to be amazed that the work is by 16-year-olds.
"We know we’re getting it right at Roding Valley when people think it’s A-Level or degree work."
