The organisers of Stow Festival have teamed up with Walthamstow Garden Party to curate live performances at the festival later this month.

The Walthamstow Garden Party, which attracted 30,000 people to Lloyd Park last year, will feature headliners Femi Kuti, Ghost Poet and LoneLady.

But the Stow Festival, now in its fifth year, were asked to put on their own line-up for the News From Nowhere stage to highlight artists who will appear in September across venues in Walthamstow.

Confirmed acts included are Lady President, Krixpanx and The November Five with DJ’s Toby Oliver, TBX and Pej Esotericsoul on Saturday (July 18).

Artists Lemzie, PoP Campaign and Blank Bibles will perform on Sunday while Kat Richmond, Vital Sound and Matt Richards will hit the decks.

Stow Festival chair, Nick Bason said: "We're absolutely delighted to have been asked by the Walthamstow Garden Party to select acts from this year's Stow Festival.

"The acts and DJs playing will show a broad range of the talent and musical genres that will be performing at this year's Stow Festival."

Mr Bason will also be holding a free after party event at the Wild Card Brewery in Ravenshall Industrial Estate on July 18.

Their own award-winning festival is scheduled to return to Walthamstow between September 17 and 20 with a full lineup to be announced at the end of the month.
