Children enjoy a previous Messy Abbey event
Children have once again been invited to get messy in church.
Waltham Abbey's Messy Abbey event returns this Saturday (July 4), with the church in Highbridge Street hosting the event for children aged under 11.
Parents and guardians are asked to accompany their children at the event, which will feature arts and crafts, story-telling and music.
The free event runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and finishes with an afternoon tea.
