A group of women are set to raise money for charity with 'a touch of glamour' this month.
The Athena West Essex Ladies’ Networking Group are set to host a summer fundraiser at The Menzies Hotel in Manor Road, Chigwell, on July 21.
The event, which will consist of a buffet lunch and the opportunity to buy second-hand clothes and bags, will raise funds for Essex-based Brainwave Children’s Charity.
The chosen charity supports over 600 families of children with a wide range of additional needs including cerebral palsy, Down’s Syndrome, autism and developmental delay.
Athena’s Stella Fehmi said:“This will be a fun, summer social and the chance to pick up some real bargains with all proceeds from the clothing sale and a raffle going to Brainwave.
"Athena West Essex Ladies’ Networking Group is all about supporting each other and we’re delighted to be extending that support to a fantastic charity that really is a lifeline to so many families in Essex.”
