A woodwind quintet is hosting a concert as part of a bid to raise funds to restore a historic organ.
A total of £50,000 is needed to bring the rare, historic, organ back to life at All Saints Church in Church Avenue, Highams Park.
The organ was built in 1910 by world-renowned manufacturer Robert Spurden Rutt, who was based in High Road, Leyton, and has been out-of-action for around 30 years.
Etesian Winds have organised a concert for Friday (July 10) at the church where the musicians will play a selection of classical music using instrument's the flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon.
The event is part of the first-ever Highams Park Festival which will feature 50 events and exhibitions in the area from July 9 to 26.
Tickets on the door cost £5 for adults and £3 for under 18s.
