A day of street collections has raised £368.90 for charity.
The Action for Children (AFC) street collection saw volunteers in High Road, Loughton, collecting change from passers-by to help support and speak out on behalf of the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK.
The collection took place on Saturday (July 4).
A spokesman for the charity said: "Thanks to the generosity of the general public a street collection held on behalf of Action for Children collected £368.90.
"We help transform the lives of thousands of children and young people each year and we’ve been doing so for over 145 years.
"AFC would like to thank the individuals who gave up their time to collect and to the people whose donations contributed towards this total."
