Buskers invited to perform in Waltham Forest
Street performers are being invited to the borough to help celebrate National Busking Day.
The Mayor of London’s Busk in London campaign is being piloted by Waltham Forest council who are encouraging responsible buskers to show their talents on Saturday (July 18).
Buskers are invited to help entertain crowds on their way to Walthamstow Garden Party 2015 in Lloyd Park.
There will be another opportunity to perform on the bank holiday (August 29-31) across town centres in the borough.
Buskers, limited to three members per band, will be allowed to accept donations but not sell anything under council rules.
