The organisers of a third annual beer festival are hoping for a “bigger and better” event than before, with ticket sales reportedly double what they were last year.

The Epping Ongar Railway beer festival runs at the North Weald Station from Friday (July 31) to Sunday, with a selection of beers available including some from nearby Moreton.

All three days will feature live folk music, and extra train services will be running as well as bus connections to Epping and Shenfield train stations.

Organiser Alan Perryman said: “The team has been working hard over the past six months and these early ticket sales are really promising.

“We have put together a fantastic selection of 50 ales and 15 ciders with many from excellent local breweries.”
