Over a million people are expected at the carnival this year
Families are invited to try on some of the extravagant costumes which will be on show during the Notting Hill Carnival this year.
Mahogany Carnival Arts pre-carnival preview will be held at Leyton Library in High Road on Wednesday (August 5).
Attendees will be able to view and even dress up in some of the outfits whilst finding out more about the history of the carnival which has run annually in west London since 1965.
More than 1 million people are expected to attend the carnival this year between August 29 to 31.
The library’s preview event will take place from 3pm to 4.30pm and free tickets are available here.
