Gardening tips on offer to mark National Allotment Week
A workshop will teach green-fingered residents practical tips to mark national allotment week.
The free session will offer a hands-on way to grow different plants and introduce new soil types to your garden.
People will visit Bateman Road Allotments in Burnside Avenue, Chingford to get an introduction to soil surveying and the importance of raised beds at 11am.
Invitees are reminded to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the two hour event on Wednesday (August 12).
