A series of events which will allow children to play and explore in the great outdoors this summer have been announced.
Epping Forest District Council's “Play in the Park” sessions, which began on Monday (August 3), will continue tomorrow (August 5) in Waltham Abbey and offer an array of activities including space hoppers, flying saucers, rounders and clay model making.
The free sessions, which will take place in Loughton, Waltham Abbey, Epping, Abridge and Ongar, will cater for youngsters aged one to 19-years-old.
The Play in the Park sessions across the district this week are listed below:
Town Mead Leisure Park in Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey: August 5, 10am-12pm.
Thornwood Common, Weald Hall Lane, Thornwood: August 5, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Jessel Drive Green in Loughton: August 6, 10am-12pm.
Shelley Park in St Peters Avenue, Ongar: August 6, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Ivy Chimneys Playground in Ivy Chimneys Road, Epping: August 7, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
