A series of events which will allow children to play and explore in the great outdoors this summer have been announced.
Epping Forest District Council's “Play in the Park” sessions, which began on August 3, will continue next week (August 17) in Waltham Abbey and offer an array of activities including space hoppers, flying saucers, rounders and clay model making.
The free sessions, which will take place in Loughton, Waltham Abbey, Epping, Abridge and Ongar, will cater for youngsters aged one to 19-years-old.
The Play in the Park sessions across the district next week are listed below:
Stonards Hill Recreation Ground in Stonards Hill, Epping: August 17, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Abridge Village Hall Playing Fields in Ongar Road, Abridge: August 18, 10am-12pm.
Roding Valley Recreation Ground in Roding Road, Loughton: August 18, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Town Mead Leisure Park in Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey: August 19, 10am-12pm.
Rous Road Playground in Roding Valley Meadows, Buckhurst Hill: August 19, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Jessel Drive Green in Loughton: August 20, 10am-12pm.
Shelley Park in St Peters Avenue, Ongar: August 20, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Ivy Chimneys Playground in Ivy Chimneys Road, Epping: August 21, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
