A new map has revealed the planned spread of super-fast broadband in Epping Forest.
Details for the Rural Challenge Project were announced by Essex County Council (ECC) in June.
The £7.5million project will bring fibre-optic cables to more than 4,500 properties, enabling broadband speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps.
The new interactive map released by the county council reveals the reach of the new fibre connections across the district, as well as other planned upgrades to the network.
Homes and businesses in the north-east of Epping Forest will benefit first before the project rolls out further south and west.
Operator Gigaclear will begin work in November 2015 with the first customers expected to gain access to the new broadband services a month later.
Once the fibre network is available customers will need to switch or buy a fibre broadband service.
