The Salvation Army playing in Wanstead (35205961)
A researcher is trying to find out more about the work of a retired Salvation Army officer.
Colonel H Jakeway taught in schools in Waltham Forest in the 1970s, according to records.
The musician and composer was apparently well known in the borough, and lived in Leyton.
As part of a research project Mr Albert Pell is trying to find out which schools he taught in.
