Tour de France passed through the streets of Epping Forest last year
Tour de France fever is set to return to the streets next month following the launch of a new cycling event.
Human Race Events’ L’Etape London by Le Tour de France will take place on the streets of Epping Forest on September 27.
The event, which is the official Tour de France Legacy Sportive for London, will see riders take on one of three challenging distances of 42, 92 or 117 miles following much of the same route as Stage Three of the 2014 event.
Cyclists will be led by the official Tour de France red Skoda vehicles.
The race will finish with a lap of honour around the Lee Valley VeloPark at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford.
