Cultural organisations across Epping Forest have been invited to apply for grants that could help them expand and enhance their work.

Applications for grants of £2,500 or more can be made to the Cultural Development Strategic Fund until September 30.

The scheme is run by Essex County Council, and money can be awarded to any cultural projects based in or working in Essex for the benefit of people in the county.

Councillor Roger Hirst said: “Culture in Essex is thriving and it is important that we contribute to it by encouraging and incentivising through grants such as these.

“I look forward to hearing outcomes from the projects and organisations that are awarded grants this year, and to seeing their work come to fruition.”

Grant applications can be made by visiting https://www.essex.gov.uk/Activities/Arts%20Services/Pages/Arts-Funding.aspx.
