People planning ahead for themselves and for relatives have been invited to see what life is like in sheltered housing.
Two Epping Forest homes will open their doors to the public this month to help people make decisions about future living arrangements.
Officers from Epping Forest District Council will be present at both days to explain what life is like in sheltered accommodation, and people will have the chance to look around and view flats if there are any vacant.
Next Monday (September 7), Parsonage Court in Rectory Lane, Loughton, will open its doors between 2pm and 4pm.
On the Friday (September 11), Leonard Davis House in Kiln Road, North Weald, will be open between 10am and midday.
