Helicopter rides, pilates classes and unique art will all be up for grabs at a charity coffee morning later this month.

Organised in conjunction with Magical Monkey Fun pre-school by teacher Dani Epstein, the event on September 25 will raise money for cancer charity Macmillan at North Weald Methodist Church Hall.

With “amazing” prizes already donated for the raffle by local businesses, the morning will feature cakes, refreshments and a second-hand book stall.

Ms Epstein said: “Fundraising has exceeded my expectations and at the moment stands at about £500 but by the time the day comes will certainly be more.

“I have really been overwhelmed by people’s generosity as well as local businesses who have really pulled out the stops with their prize donations.”

The event runs from 10am to 12.30pm, with the raffle draw at midday.

Tickets cost £1 and can be bought online at www.justgiving.com/D-Epstein.
