I READ in the Guardian (May 1 edition) that the Ongar Town Forum is looking at increasing the number of stalls at the Wednesday market in Ongar.
This is not before time. When the market started there were quite a number of stalls each week, but over time the number has fallen dramatically.
Ongar - through its proper' name of Chipping Ongar - is historically a market town and it is only right that a market should flourish in the town.
Name and address supplied.
