MAY we, through your newspaper, thank the residents of the Loughton wards for their outstanding support of Loughton Residents Association in the recent district and town council elections.
The association's candidates won clear majorities in five of the six wards we contested, and received high support in the sixth.
This clearly demonstrates that residents have confidence in an independent local association committed to serving Loughton and tackling local issues, rather than a national party pursuing national goals.

We now have six district councillors and 14 town councillors (see loughtonresidents.co.uk).
Our councillors will continue to justify residents' confidence in us, by listening to their concerns and by working on their behalf.
