HENDON’S RAF museum will host the launch of the updated memoirs of Battle of Britain’s Captain Johnny Kent.
Group Captain Johnny Kent’s classic memoir titled ‘One of the Few’ will be shared by his daughter, Alexandra Kent, who will introduce and read an epilogue on the day.
People can join Ms Kent for the epilogue at the museum on Grahame Park way, from 11am on September 17.
Ms Kent will also be available to sign any copies.
Museum curator Peter Devitt will also talk about the 303 squadron and Captain Kent’s integral role during the Battle of Britain.
A showing of Tomasz Magierski’s film 303, which tells the story of the most successful squadron of the Battle of Britain - the Polish 303 Kosciuszko Squadron.
The film will be shown in the lecture theatre at 12:30pm.
