People are urged to take the plunge and abseil 262ft down London’s ArcelorMittal Orbit for the Children’s Air Ambulance.
The famous sculpture, created by Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond, is a symbol of the London 2012 Olympics, and its views reach over 20 miles across the city.
The event is taking place on September 25, between 9-6pm at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford.
Registration is £25 and people are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £350.
The national Children’s Air Ambulance flies emergency transfers between hospitals for seriously ill children so they can get the treatment they need as quickly as possible.
