A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Adeniyi Lateef Shode in Northolt in 2011.

Thames Valley officers arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the murder of Mr Shode in the early hours of Monday October 11.

The man was bailed pending further enquires to a date in late November.

The investigation into the murder continues after Adeniyi, was discovered collapsed close to the junction of Rowdell Road, Ealing Road, and Kensington Road, at 8.50pm on May 2, 2011.

Adeniyi had been stabbed and died in hospital later that night.

A 20,000 reward remains available for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder

Following his death, a Facebook group was created by Carleigh Louise Burton who wrote: “RIP Enda, sadly you was taken from us but you will never be forgotten and you're in a better place now, sleep tight.”

A Facebook group has been set up in his memory by Carleigh Louise Burton, who said: “RIP Enda, God always takes the best ones first.”

Two men and two women were arrested in May 2011 and subsequently released with no further action.

A 25-year-old man surrendered to a north London police station on June 8 and was arrested for conspiracy to murder.

A 27-year-old woman was further arrested for conspiracy to murder at an address in Watford. They have both been bailed.

In May this year, another two men were arrested on suspicion of murder at addresses in north London.

Both have also been bailed.
