The trial of a man charged with killing a mother-of-nine and her nephew in East Finchley last September began on Monday.
Obina Ezeoke, of no fixed address, is charged with the murder of Annie Besala Ekofo, 53 and Bervil Kalikaka-Ekofo, 21 at their home in East Finchley on Thursday, 15 September.
It has been reported that Ms Ekofo came to check on her nephew after he was shot dead in his sleep.
Mr Ezeoke appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 21 September and was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 23 September.
Two other people arrested in connection with the murders remain on bail, and are expected to return pending further enquiries.
The trial continues.
