Haven House Children's Hospice to benefit from Chingford Old Church service

THE annual "Lighting of the Christmas Tree" service on Christmas Eve at Chingford Old Church was once again a great success.

The service was conducted by the Reverend Tom Page who put a very modern slant on the traditional Christmas story and this went down very well with the entire congregation.

The retiring collection raised £380 and this sum will be going to Haven House Children's Hospice in Woodford Green.

This local hospice relies very heavily on donations to carry on their wonderful work with the children.
